Oakdale Neighbors is shrinking the footprint of the Oakdale neighborhood by helping residents to reduce, reuse, and recycle STUFF. Bins and information for curbside recycling are available at our office. At its annual Clean-Up day Oakdale Neighbors separates electronics, cardboard, plastic and metal into separate waste streams. Oakdale Neighbors is reducing its own environmental impact in several ways. In 2005-2006 it reduced its use of natural gas by 52%. We reduced it by another 15% in 2006-2007. Oakdale Neighbors has joined Michigan Interfaith Power and Light to protect the environment and save you money!
