federal 501(c)3 tax-exempt status.
Creating a neighborhood of vitality and grace
by discovering, developing, and connecting skills and resources
Front Yard Sitting Gardens are pleasant, front yard places to sit and
socialize with friends and neighbors.  They include perennial flowers,
vegetables, a sitting bench, and more. Oakdale Neighbors can help you
create one.

Tax Credits: In 2012 Oakdale Neighbors completed 185 tax returns for low
and moderate income families. This effort generated $280,000 in refunds and
credits. Can you volunteer in 2013?

Trees are being planted in the neighborhood--86 so far.  Many species are
native to Michigan. These trees will cool the neighborhood and reduce its
carbon footprint.

donated bikes and helping you learn to repair or
maintain your bike.
