City prepares to welcome thousands Downtown for fireworks spectacular

On Saturday, Grand Rapids will welcome thousands of visitors Downtown for its annual Grand Rapids Fireworks, presented by Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort in celebration of Independence Day and our nation’s 250th birthday. In advance of crowds gathering for the spectacular display, the City of Grand Rapids is issuing tips for navigating Downtown and enjoying the fireworks with family, friends and neighbors.

The July 4 spectacular, which promises to be an amazing experience for families across West Michigan, is free and open to the public.
