New summer events bring fresh energy to Rosa Parks Circle

Rosa Parks Circle, the iconic downtown plaza designed by artist and architect Maya Lin, will come alive this summer with a new and expanded lineup of community events. Known for its concerts, festivals, dances and winter ice rink, the Circle will now host even more ways for residents and visitors to connect, move and celebrate together.

While Tuesday Night Swing Dance remains a beloved tradition, the City and community event organizers are introducing several new programs that add fresh energy and variety to the summer season. These events are designed for all ages and interests, offering everything from fitness and skating to Latin dance and alcohol‑free social gatherings.
