The City of Grand Rapids has selected Veo as its new shared micromobility provider, replacing Lime beginning September 1, 2026. After a thorough review of proposals, interviews, and vehicle testing, Veo earned the highest scores and was unanimously supported by the Mobile GR Commission. The three‑year agreement comes at no direct cost to the City and will bring enhanced safety features, lower and fixed per‑minute pricing, expanded affordability programs, a more accessible mix of devices and improved parking compliance technology. With more than 1.8 million rides taken since 2020, demand for micromobility continues to grow, and City officials say Veo’s innovations will make trips safer, more affordable and more convenient for riders across Grand Rapids. Additional rollout details will be shared in the coming weeks.
