Join Us for the Grand Opening of Kendall Street Fire Station – this Friday!

You're invited to join us in celebrating the opening of the new Kendall Street Fire Station! We’re hosting a ribbon cutting and public tour at 10 a.m. on Friday, September 26, and we’d love to see you there.

The event will take place at 4044 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, the site of the brand-new Station No. 12, built to serve the city’s Third Ward for generations to come. This 12,600-square-foot facility features modern living spaces for firefighters, drive-through bays for fire trucks, a fitness room and a community meeting space. Designed to blend into the neighborhood, the station also includes green space and preserved oak trees.
