Mobile GR hosts transit access engagement events

Our Mobile GR Department is launching a community engagement initiative to help influence future transit access investments, especially as rising operating costs put pressure on the more than $2 million we allocate each year to the DASH downtown circulator. To gather meaningful input on priorities, trade-offs, and investment options, we’re hosting three identical in-person public engagement sessions from 5:30 to 8 p.m., where residents can review proposals, discuss benefits, and rank what matters most for the next fiscal year. Community members can join us this Thursday, Aug. 27 at the Center for Community Transformation, Sept. 1 at GRPS University, or Sept. 3 at the Grand Rapids Public Library Main.
